Business Development - Regional HeadReporting into the Head of Distribution, the Business Development Regional Head will be responsible for driving the growth of Isio’s investment management (DFM) solutions within their region by building and maintaining strong relationships with UK financial advisers, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored investment solutions to meet the adviser’s needs. This role will focus on achieving business growth targets while ensuring exceptional client service and compliance with regulatory standards.Role and ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development:<ul> <ul> <li>Identify and develop new opportunities to distribute investment management services, primarily to UK financial advisers.</li> <li>Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective client firms through networking and strategic outreach.</li> </ul> <ul> </ul> <ul> </ul> <ul> </ul> <ul> </ul></ul>Client Relationship Management:<ul><li>Build and nurture long-term relationships with intermediary firms, supporting them in the delivery of their investment proposition for clients.</li></ul>Sales &amp; Marketing Strategy Execution:<ul><li>Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and business objectives.</li><li>Use data-driven insights to tailor sales approaches and solutions.</li><li>To contribute to and help implement the marketing strategy plan </li><li>To raise the profile of the firm and be an ambassador in all channels including networking events, investment seminars, CPD training events, sponsorships, conferences, LinkedIn etc. </li><li>Work with internal teams (e.g. Private Wealth, pensions consulting etc) to cross-sell services where possible.</li></ul>Market Expertise:<ul><li>Stay up-to-date with market trends, macro events, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.</li><li>Provide insights into client needs and market demands to inform proposition development and service offerings.</li></ul>Compliance and Risk Management:<ul><li>Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations, including FCA standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of adviser relationships including adviser due diligence</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):<ul><li>Achievement of individual and team sales targets.</li><li>Growth in client base and assets under management (AUM).</li><li>Compliance with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Contribution to wider firm initiatives</li></ul><ul> </ul>Key Skills &amp; Experience<ul> <li>Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.</li> <li>Client-Centric Approach: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.</li> <li>The candidate will need to be proactive, a self-starter, highly motivated, articulate and confident in presenting</li> <li>Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of wealth management products, investment options, and financial planning.</li> <li>Commercial Acumen: Ability to identify and capitalise on profitable opportunities.</li> <li>Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with UK financial regulations, including FCA requirements.</li> <li>Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions.</li></ul><ul> <li>Professional qualifications (e.g., CISI Wealth Management, CII Diploma in Financial Planning, or equivalent) preferred.</li> <li>Proven track record in DFM, fund management or platform sales, or in a relevant wealth management role</li> <li>Strong IT skills, including CRM systems and financial planning tools.</li></ul><ul> </ul>Demonstrated Commitment to our Core Purpose<ul><li>Power in Partnership: We work in partnership with our clients &amp; each other – building open and trusted relationships.
