IonQ is at the forefront of this technological revolution. </div>We are looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager for the Corporate IT team. They will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing a diverse range of technical projects. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and strong project management skills to lead initiatives from inception to completion. Responsibilities <ul> <li>Project Leadership: Oversee the full spectrum of IT initiatives by overseeing high-impact programs in identity and access management (IAM), mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;A), and artificial intelligence (AI). This role involves leading diverse projects from end-to-end, including office expansions, application integrations, and complex infrastructure and networking upgrades.</li> <li>Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and timelines effectively. Work with other functional groups (Security, Legal, etc.) to coordinate IT support. </li> <li>M&amp;A Activities: Manage the IT aspects of M&amp;A, including integrating IT systems, networks, and applications of newly acquired companies.</li> <li>Project Lifecycle Management: Define project scopes, create detailed project plans, manage resources, and track progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.</li> <li>Process Management: Define and implement a comprehensive IT project intake process to align new initiatives with strategic business objectives and manage the departments portfolio. Serve as the central point of contact for ad-hoc requests and inquiries, evaluating their scope and impact to either route them to the appropriate team or define them as a new project.</li> <li>Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.</li> <li>Vendor and Budget Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors and oversee project budgets.</li> <li>Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring solutions align with corporate IT standards and goals.</li> <li>Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical requirements, project plans, and status reports.</li> </ul> You’d be a good fit with:  <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in a relevant field like Information Technology or Computer Science. </li> <li>8+ years of professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li> <li>Proven experience as a technical program manager within a corporate IT setting. </li> <li>Proven experience working on projects involving Identity and Access Management (IAM) integrations, mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;A), or infrastructure/networking.</li> <li>Strong grasp of corporate IT infrastructure, including concepts like networking, servers, cloud services, and security protocols.</li> <li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Youre able to handle pressure and manage multiple projects at once.</li> <li>Comfortable managing projects with shifting requirements and priorities.</li> </ul> You’d be a great fit with:  <ul> <li>Direct experience working in an Agile environment. </li> <li>Proficient in using software/ticketing systems for project management, including intake and tracking.</li> <li>Experience using a wiki to document project information, make announcements, and publicize IT projects.</li> <li>Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification</li> </ul> Location: This position can work onsite or hybrid from one of our offices (College Park, MD, Bothell, WA) or fully remote in the US.
