In this role, you’ll work closely with partners from our Sales, Billing, and other downstream teams on building a more robust and scalable Quote-to-Cash system. You’ll also have the chance to work on transformational change in how we do business at Intercom.</p> <h2>What will I be doing? </h2> <ul> <li>Design scalable and durable solutions in Salesforce to enable a smooth Quote-to-Order system.</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with other staff/principal engineers and managers to devise solutions to complex multi-system challenges.</li> <li>Advise on and help execute transformational systems projects.</li> <li>Actively participate in maintaining a culture of quality and consistency.</li> <li>Create observability in Quote-to-Cash systems.</li> <li>Ensure Quote-to-Cash system health.</li> </ul> <h2>What skills do I need? </h2> <ul> <li>Rapid speed development via AI tools</li> <li>Integration design</li> <li>Proven track record of architecting and implementing complex Salesforce CPQ solutions that meet business and scalability needs</li> <li>Solid understanding of VisualForce/Apex, Javascript, and Trigger framework patterns</li> <li>Experience with Git</li> <li>Comfortable finding, investigating, and solving large, vague problems</li> <li>Comfortable communicating up and down organizational structures to the right level of detail depending on audience</li> <li>Capability to plan and sequence complex projects with significant ambiguity or risks</li> <li>Experience leading transformational projects with multiple stakeholders</li> <li>Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect (or equivalent experience) are highly desirable</li> </ul> <h2>Bonus skills &amp; attributes </h2> <ul> <li>Experience with Snowflake/ SQL / DBT</li> <li>Development experience outside Salesforce (Ruby)</li> <li>Experience with Gearset or CI / CD</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits </h2> <p><span>We are a well-treated bunch, with awesome benefits! Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
