For more information, visit<a href="https://integralads.com/"> integralads.com.</a> We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Walled Gardens team What youll get to do: <ul> <li>Design, code and maintain components aggregating tens of billions of daily transactions</li> <li>Scale applications and architectures to handle billions of requests and billions of records in the most cost-effective way</li> <li>Lead the entire software lifecycle including hands-on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation for streaming, batch ETL and RESTful APIs</li> <li>Work on Big Data technologies such as Databricks, Spark and columnar databases</li> <li>Mentor junior team members</li> </ul> You should apply if you have most of this: <ul> <li>5+ years of recent hands-on Java experience, with experience in Scala a plus</li> <li>Regular use of collections, multi-threading, JVM memory model, etc.</li> <li>Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot and related technologies</li> <li>Great understanding of designing for performance, scalability, reliability and observability</li> <li>Experience working with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, EKS)</li> <li>Interpersonal and communication skills</li> </ul> Bonus points: <ul> <li>Python experience</li> <li>Experience in Databricks, Spark, delta tables, workflows, notebooks a big plus</li> <li>In-depth understanding of algorithms, scalability and various tradeoffs in a Big Data setting</li> <li>Solid understanding of database fundamentals, good knowledge of SQL</li> <li>Good knowledge of Linux command line tools</li> <li>Exposure to messaging frameworks like SQS / Kinesis or similar</li> <li>If you are a solid backend Java developer looking to leap into and learn Big Data, we will consider you!</li> </ul>   New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $100,800 - $172,800.
