<p><b><span>Position Overview: </span></b><br />The Manager, Technical Accounting, will be primarily responsible for assisting with technical accounting consultations via research and analysis of complex accounting issues. In addition, this position will assist with developing new accounting policies and implementation of new accounting standards.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities: </span></b></p><ul><li>Support company-wide technical accounting consultation via research on and analysis of complex accounting issues, applying relevant technical guidance and interpretation (examples include contract review, investments, leases, software capitalization, research and development efforts, etc.).</li><li>Work proactively and collaboratively with business and finance partners to understand current and ongoing business negotiations and key contract terms in order to conduct research and evaluate the accounting treatment for proposed business transactions.</li><li>Draft technical accounting memoranda to support accounting conclusions on complex issues.</li><li>Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company’s accounting policies and monitor compliance.</li><li>Work collaboratively with third parties and external auditors on conclusions and documentation of complex accounting issues.</li><li>Assist with the assessment and implementation of new accounting standards.</li><li>Perform a review of company contracts for accounting implications.</li><li>Responsible for performing internal controls over technical accounting.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Education and Experience</span></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree; degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.</li><li>Active CPA License.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting.</li><li>Experience in public accounting.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.</li><li>Experience with accounting research tools, such as PwC Viewpoint/Deloitte Dart.</li><li>Proficient in technical accounting documentation.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Skills and Competencies:</span></b></p><ul><li>Able to collaborate crossfuntionally.</li><li>Experience with IFRS preferred.</li><li>Ability to manage a process and meet expected deadlines.</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least three (3) days per week. #LI-Hybrid</b></p><p></p><p>Additional Information:</p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $98,625.00 - $147,937.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
