This role will focus on end-to-end project execution — from discovery and design through deployment and enablement — while closely partnering with operational support teams to ensure ongoing alignment, feedback integration, and enhancements that strengthen financial systems and processes.</p> <p>As a trusted advisor and project leader, you will collaborate across Accounting, Finance, IT, and Systems teams, driving innovation in Oracle R2R and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><em>About the Team -</em></strong></p> <p>The Finance Systems and Solutions (FINSS) team owns the end-to-end lifecycle, governance, and evolution of technology systems that enables Finance across Instacart. We align deeply with Finance leadership to ensure that systems serve not just as tools, but as strategic enablers of insight, control, and growth.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About the Job </strong></p> <p>Solution Implementation and Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle R2R solutions, including GL (with Intercompany), Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Fusion Accounting Hub.</li> <li>Lead R2R workstreams throughout project lifecycles: discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and transition to support.</li> <li>Partner with operational support counterparts to ensure seamless handoffs, alignment on system feedback, and collaboration on enhancements.</li> </ul> <p>Stakeholder Partnership</p> <ul> <li>Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable system solutions.</li> <li>Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality, timely results.</li> <li>Build trusted relationships with cross-functional leaders, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.</li> </ul> <p>Innovation and Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Drive R2R process improvements that enhance reporting, reconciliation, and period-closing cycles.</li> <li>Monitor Oracle Cloud ERP feature releases and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI/automation, for relevance to R2R optimization.</li> <li>Promote organizational learning through internal knowledge-sharing sessions and enablement initiatives.</li> </ul> <p>Team Development and Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Mentor junior analysts and project team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.</li> <li>Provide constructive feedback and guidance on analytical, technical, and stakeholder management skills.</li> </ul> <p>Security and Controls</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to discussions on Oracle security and access design, ensuring proper controls for R2R modules.</li> <li>Partner with stakeholders to align project activities with audit and compliance requirements.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of proven expertise in Oracle Financials Cloud, including hands-on experience with GL, FA, and Cash Management.</li> <li>3+ years in Oracle Fusion.</li> <li>Strong understanding of accounting processes, close cycles, and subledger-to-GL data flows.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to partner with operational support teams and integrate feedback into project design.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process modeling skills.</li> </ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Oracle Financials Cloud: General Ledger Certified Implementation Professional certification.</li> <li>Experience leading cross-functional teams in global, agile delivery environments.</li> <li>Familiarity with automation, AI capabilities, or advanced reporting solutions that enhance R2R processes.</li> </ul> <p>Key Personal Attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborative and empathetic communicator who builds trust across Finance, Systems, and Support teams.</li> <li>Curious, forward-thinking, and passionate about leveraging technology to improve financial processes.</li> <li>Thrives in fast-paced environments, balancing structure and flexibility to achieve impactful results.</li> </ul> <p>#LI-Remote</p><div><div><div><p><span>Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work.
