The team’s mission statement is to expand our understanding of e-commerce customer trends by leveraging data and insights to support key client relationships, drive ad revenue, and enhance the overall effectiveness of Instacarts advertising solutions.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>This Insight Manager’s overall objective is to leverage data to produce actionable insight around clients’ performance on Instacart to:</p> <ul> <li>Help them drive category and brand conversion</li> <li>Help them build a profile of the ecomm consumer for their brands</li> <li>Help Instacart’s sales team drive more advertising investment</li> <li>Become a ‘trusted advisor’ on how to win in ecommerce!</li> </ul> <p><strong>About the Job</strong></p> <p>You will support multiple clients within a category group and work with our multiple sales and account management teams to:</p> <ul> <li>Identify the key business drivers for our brand partners and make actionable recommendations to grow the business </li> <li>Integrate consumer and customer insight to better inform targeted strategies</li> <li>Able to work both independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams &amp; an ability to present directly to brand teams of various levels</li> <li>Integrate data from a variety of sources to identify key trends and emerging solutions for the partner and customer</li> <li>Apply the full suite of tools and metrics available against business issues including but not limited to:  </li> <ul> <li>Sales, share, distribution, assortment, etc</li> <li>Basket analytics such as cross shop, penetration, affinities, etc</li> <li>Customer analytics such as trial/repeat, conversion, buy rate, etc</li> </ul> <li>Go beyond the data and craft compelling storylines to engage our partners</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>3+ years analytical experience, preference if also within consumer packaged goods or ecommerce industry</li> <li>Strong experience with Excel and/or Google Suite, Tableau and/or Mode dashboards</li> <li>Basic knowledge of SQL required, with willingness to learn </li> <li>Ability to draw conclusions from large amounts of data and summarize findings in concise manner to problem solve</li> <li>Detail oriented with ability to produce accurate work quickly &amp; efficiently</li> <li>Independent worker with self-starter mentality; takes initiative</li> <li>Good project management skills</li> <li>Ability to comprehend and sell concepts within the context of Brand Partnerships</li> <li>Strong presentation skills are required</li> <li>Ability to learn and apply different software applications</li> <li>Minimum Bachelors degree</li> </ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Preference to candidates in New York City, Chicago, or Toronto areas</li> </ul> <p>#LI-Remote</p><div><div><div><p>Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location.
