This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of a key business area, working on long-range planning, in-depth analysis of client spend and key performance indicators, and accurate forecasting.  About You: The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis, ideally gained through 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, and possess a passion for understanding business drivers and translating data into actionable insights within the media and measurement landscape. Your daily Impact as a Strategic Business Analyst: <ul> <li>Long-Range Planning: Support the development and maintenance of the long-range financial plan for the Media and Measurement product, incorporating market trends, product roadmap, and growth initiatives specific to the media and measurement industry.</li> <li>Client Spend Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of client spend within our media and measurement offerings, identifying key trends, drivers of growth and churn, and opportunities for optimization of client relationships and revenue generation.</li> <li>Key Metric Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to our Media and Measurement product, including revenue, cost of goods sold, client acquisition cost, campaign performance metrics, and engagement metrics specific to our services.</li> <li>Forecasting &amp; Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and variance analysis against actual results for the Media and Measurement product line.</li> <li>Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic initiatives related to the Media and Measurement product, potentially including ROI analysis for client campaigns or new product features.</li> <li>Reporting &amp; Presentations: Prepare insightful financial reports and presentations for management, clearly communicating key findings and recommendations related to the financial performance of the Media and Measurement product.</li> <li>Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Media and Measurement product team, sales, marketing, and potentially data science/analytics teams to understand business performance and provide financial guidance specific to this product area.</li> <li>Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed to support business decisions related to the Media and Measurement product.</li> <li>Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve FP&amp;A processes and reporting efficiency within the context of the Media and Measurement function.</li> </ul> Your experience and Expertise: <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst              </li> <li>Minimum of 1–2 years in Investment Banking with exposure to financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis</li> <li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling and data manipulation.</li> <li>Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving, particularly within the media and measurement industry.</li> </ul> Nice to Have’s: <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.</li> <li>Experience with financial planning software or ERP systems</li> <li>Familiarity with media and measurement concepts, metrics, and business models</li> </ul> Benefits Summary <ul> <li>Competitive salary, stock options, flexible vacation</li> <li>Medical, Dental and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li> <li>Company Matched 401(k)</li> <li>Unlimited PTO (Within reason)</li> <li>Talented co-workers and management</li> <li>Agile Development Program (For continued learning/professional development)</li> <li>Paid Paternity &amp; Maternity Leave</li> </ul>   For candidates in California, Colorado, and New York City, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington and Massachusetts, the Targeted Base Salary Range for this role is $102,000 to $120,000.  Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, specialized skills and training, performance in role, business needs, and job requirements. Base salary is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
