We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Director, Financial Reporting to lead our financial reporting function. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s SEC reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls. This is a unique opportunity for a proven leader to build a world-class public company reporting infrastructure in a dynamic, high-growth environment.Key Responsibilities<ul> <li>Lead the preparation and filing of all external financial reports, including Form 10-K and Form 10-Q, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all SEC requirements.</li> <li>Manage the technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards and complex transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.</li> <li>Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, providing leadership and guidance to the broader accounting team.</li> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, managing the annual audit process and all related requests.</li> <li>Oversee and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control requirements.</li> <li>Partner with cross-functional teams, including legal, investor relations, and FP&amp;A, to support public company initiatives.</li> <li>Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within the financial reporting function.</li> </ul>Location &amp; Work ArrangementThis is a full-time, hybrid position in Louisville, CO.Qualifications<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license is required.</li> <li>10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a public company setting.</li> <li>Extensive experience with SEC reporting (Form 10-K and 10-Q) and deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP.</li> <li>Experience in a public accounting firm (e.g., Big 4) is highly preferred.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and develop a team.</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.</li> </ul>Important Note Regarding U.S. Export ControlsThis position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
