Ibotta is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This person will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and generating actionable insights to help us improve our strategies and performance. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, and preparing reports and presentations for senior management.This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in office. Preferred in-office hybrid days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States. What you will be doing:<ul><li>Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the company’s KPIs and financial results.</li><li>Assist in month end close process, collaborating with Ibotta’s Accounting team to report financial results and insights to our CFO and Senior Leadership Team.</li><li>Prepare a variety of reports and presentations that communicate the results of your analysis to senior management, investors, and the Board.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams and the Senior Leadership Team to implement new initiatives as well as optimize existing processes.</li><li>Participate in annual planning / budgeting processes as well as ongoing forecasting under the leadership of team management.</li><li>Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in data analytics and financial modeling as it relates to FP&amp;A strategies.</li><li>Display a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism at all times.</li><li>Embrace and uphold Ibotta’s Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency, &amp; A good idea can come from anywhere.</li></ul>What we are looking for:<ul><li>3+ years of experience in financial analysis</li><li>Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.</li><li>Experience with business intelligence (BI), data analysis, and/or FP&amp;A planning software.
