<div><br /></div><div>The Cybersecurity Data Quality Analyst develops and enforces AOs cybersecurity data standards, ensuring data quality through regular reviews and reporting. They collaborate with stakeholders to optimize dataflows and develop key performance indicators to measure and report on the programs effectiveness.</div><div><br /></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div><ul><li>Examine data from different sources with the goal of providing insight to agency, mission/security processes, and information systems</li><li>Design, document, and implement custom algorithms, workflow processes, and large data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes</li><li>Extract data from various databases, perform exploratory data analysis, cleanse, massage, and aggregate data</li><li>Employ scaling &amp; automation to data preparation techniques</li><li>Determine analytics approach to solve problems</li><li>Connect insights to security decision making options and next steps testing or research opportunities</li><li>Understand initiatives and serve as primary analytic resource in discussions with partners to define security questions</li><li>Drive creation of final insights package and recommendations</li><li>Direct analytic component of implementation of insights into security processes and ensure appropriate testing takes place</li><li>Develop project proposals, gain stakeholder buy-in, and ensure timelines are met</li><li>Promote and advocate value of advanced analytics to solve security problems within department</li><li>Mentor data security analysts</li></ul><div><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></div><ul><li>At least 1 year of experience in working in support of data standards management</li><li>Familiarity with Splunk</li><li>Experience with data extraction, preparation, and analysis techniques</li><li>Knowledge of cybersecurity data standards and best practices</li><li>Experience with reporting tools and report development</li><li>Proficiency in data quality management tools and techniques</li></ul><div><strong>Preferred Qualifications </strong></div><ul><li>Associates degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field</li><li>Strong communication skills both written and verbal</li><li>Detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive and results driven</li><li>Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to perform critical thinking in data analysis</li><li>Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail</li></ul><div><strong>Clearance Requirement:</strong> Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance</div><div> </div>
