Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.Responsibilities<ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors administering employer health and welfare benefit programs.</li><li>Responsible for overseeing vendor governance for assigned vendors, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, contractual obligations, and performance standards</li><li>Coordinate regular reviews and assessments of vendor services to identify areas for improvement and support business objectives</li><li>Collaborate with the broker to develop and review plan strategy, evaluate pricing options, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and monitor the overall performance of welfare benefit programs.</li><li>Negotiate vendor renewal pricing and service agreements to achieve cost-effective and high-quality outcomes</li><li>Develop, implement, and monitor leave policies and related programs in compliance with federal and state regulations</li><li>Lead cross-functional project teams, manage timelines, and deliver on complex initiatives within established deadlines</li><li>Resolve escalated issues, facilitate problem resolution, and ensuring prompt follow-up on outstanding concerns.</li><li>Possess analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in evaluating benefits utilization, cost trends, and program effectiveness</li><li>Serve as the subject matter expert on all Humana personal time off policies and short-term and long-term disability plans</li></ul><h1> Use your skills to make an impact  </h1>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or 3+ years of equivalent experience</li><li>Minimum 3 years of progressive and proven experience in employee benefits administration, with a focus on health and welfare plans, leave policies, and vendor management</li><li>Strong experience in contract negotiation, vendor performance evaluation, and compliance requirements</li><li>Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team coordination and cross-functional collaboration</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels</li><li>Demonstrated ability to leverage Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel when presenting to various audiences and Leadership structures</li><li>High level of attention to detail and organizational ability</li><li>Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Possible travel 5-10% based on business discretion and need</li></ul>Additional InformationThe workstyle for this role is work-at-home. WAH Internet StatementTo ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
