<h1>Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first  </h1>The Care Management Support Assistant (CMSA) employs a variety of strategies, approaches and techniques to support a members optimal wellness state by coordinating services &amp; resources. The CMSA may support various functions including care and service coordination and redeterminations. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.Position Responsibilities:<ul><li>Contribute to administration of care management.</li><li>Provides CM support by managing shared mailboxes and entering data into work queues, mailing letters/educational material, researching unable to contact members and will complete other administrative functions, as assigned</li><li>Provide non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members.</li><li>Perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments.</li><li>Perform computations.</li><li>Typically works on semi-routine assignments.</li><li>Indiana Medicaid knowledge preferred</li></ul><h1> Use your skills to make an impact  </h1>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Must currently reside in the state of Indiana</li><li>Less than 3 years of technical experience with Microsoft , Word, Excel, Outlook</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook</li><li>Administration support experience in a healthcare industry</li><li>Familiarity with care and well-being resources</li><li>Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Associates Degree</li><li>Microsoft Access proficiency</li></ul>Additional InformationWork at Home GuidanceTo ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:<ul><li>At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.</li><li>Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.</li><li>Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.</li><li>Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.</li></ul>Interview FormatAs part of our hiring process for this opportunity, we will be using an exciting screening and interviewing technology called Modern Hire to enhance our hiring and decision-making ability.
