The role emphasizes project management, advanced DAX programming for Power BI, and reporting related to key care management metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI dashboards using advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to measure productivity, quality outcomes, and other program KPIs for care management in Medicare/Medicaid.</li><li>Apply DAX to create complex calculated columns, measures, and custom aggregations, enabling robust and actionable visualization of care management metrics such as member engagement, assessment completion rates, quality measure achievement, and productivity statistics.</li><li>Lead multiple analytics and reporting projects, ensuring alignment of project timelines, deliverables, and business goals.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to define specifications for care management metrics, business requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Analyze large datasets using Power BI and DAX to deliver timely, accurate insights for regulatory reporting, operational monitoring, and strategic decision support.</li><li>Communicate findings and recommendations based on dashboard results to executive leadership and operational teams.</li><li>Provide training and technical assistance to colleagues regarding optimal use of Power BI and interpretation of care management analytics.</li><li>Maintain project documentation, data quality checks, and ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid program reporting standards.</li></ul><h1> Use your skills to make an impact  </h1>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>MBA in Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.</li><li>4+ years’ experience in healthcare analytics and project management, with a focus on Medicare/Medicaid and/or care management operations.</li><li>2+ years of hands-on experience building Power BI reports and dashboards leveraging advanced DAX expressions, including calculated measures, time intelligence functions, and data modeling</li><li>Proven ability to understand how data relates to business goals, with a demonstrated capacity to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.</li><li>Experience utilizing SQL or Tableau for data analysis, reporting, and visualization is required to support decision-making and optimize business processes.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in project management, including organizing projects, managing timelines, facilitating effective meetings, and adapting strategies to achieve project objectives.</li><li>Demonstrated familiarity with care management metrics, including productivity, quality, regulatory compliance, and program effectiveness for Medicare/Medicaid</li><li>Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities; experience managing multiple projects effectively.</li><li>Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, DAX, and Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL or other analytics platforms is an asset.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience building custom DAX solutions for healthcare or Medicare/Medicaid analytics.</li><li>Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid care management reporting and performance metrics.</li><li>Experience with additional analytics platforms (e.g., Python, Azure).</li></ul>Work at Home RequirementsTo ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:<ul><li>At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is required.</li><li>Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.</li><li>Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.</li><li>Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.</li><li>Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. ​</li></ul>Interview FormatAs part of our hiring process for this opportunity, we will be using an interviewing technology called HireVue to enhance our hiring and decision-making ability.
