<div><span><b>About the Role</b></span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>Houzz’s  brand advertising sales team is responsible for monetizing Houzz’s consumer and trade audiences through advertising and sponsored content sales. Brand Partners work with companies in the home decor and home improvement space to ensure they understand the value of advertising on Houzz and to persuade them to do so. As one of only a handful of salespeople on this team, each brand partner manages a territory or account list and is responsible for generating advertising revenue that meets or exceeds an annual quota. </span></div><div><br /></div><div><span><b>This is a 6-month temporary full-time position</b>.</span></div><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Manage a territory and sales quota, particularly focused on brands in home related categories</li><li>Develop account and territory strategies for long-term revenue growth</li><li>Own prospecting and lead generation, cold outreach to brands, setting up meetings, pitching the benefits of advertising on Houzz, negotiating deals, and closing sales</li><li>Act as a business specialist on behalf of your clients - strategically developing digital and mixed media solutions to suit their objective</li><li>Establish and foster relationships with clients by conducting a high volume of face-to-face calls</li><li>Prioritize and lead to ensure proper account management both internally and externally</li><li>Establish oneself as a thought leader within the home category and evangelize Houzz’s unique positioning within the marketplace</li><li>Ability to stay ahead of the curve on marketplace trends relating to their clients as well as the digital industry</li></ul><h3>At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have</h3><ul><li>Sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in an unstructured, goal-oriented environment</li><li>3+ years of advertising sales experience with proven track record; experience working with home category partners is a plus</li><li>Cultivate and leverage deep client relationships</li><li>Full knowledge of the digital space – native, content, sponsorships, social, and custom</li><li>Have a strong desire to win and grow as digital ad sales professional</li><li>Exceptional communication and organizational skills</li><li>Well-developed presentation skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple account challenges at once</li><li>BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience</li><li>Must be extremely detail oriented</li><li>Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiar with CRM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, etc. </li><li>Ability to travel when required; anywhere from 10% to 25% of the time</li><li>Be located US time zone</li></ul><h3>Ideally, Youll Also Have</h3><ul><li>Experience working with home category brands</li><li>Ad agency experience</li><li>Programmatic sales experience</li><li>Or a degree in marketing, advertising, or business</li></ul><div><span><b>Compensation, Benefits and Perks</b></span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>This role offers an <b>annual base salary plus variable pay</b> based on business metrics and individual performance. This role has an annual starting salary range of <b>$62,500 - $75,000,</b> <b>with</b> <b>On Target Earnings of $150,000</b>.
