We’d love to talk.</div></div><p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p> <p>As a Investment Processor (Title and Escrow Experience Preferred) (at Hometap well call you an Application Specialist), you’ll be a key part of the team that makes investments here at Hometap – helping to fulfill the mission of making home ownership less stressful and more accessible. You will be responsible for reviewing homeowner applications, verifying application data with third party service providers, and coordinating cross functionally to orchestrate the closing and funding of investments.</p> <p>We’re looking for team members who are execution-oriented with exceptional attention to detail. Your work will require you to stay organized in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment. You’re a great fit if you enjoy following and iterating on versions of repeatable processes, and bring an outgoing nature with strong cross-functional communication skills.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong><strong><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Own a pipeline of homeowner applications for processing</li> <li>Obtain necessary supplemental information from Homeowners via our task/to-do service</li> <li>Place orders with third-party vendors for all necessary components for underwriting assessment </li> <li>Verify all documentation for thoroughness per our guidelines</li> <li>Compile and complete an initial review of full package to determine eligibility to move forward to underwriting</li> <li>Communicate with our Sales team throughout as they are our Homeowners single point of contact</li> <li>Coordinate cross-functionally with our Signing and Funding team to orchestrate the closing and funding of investments</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>1-3 years experience in an applicable role (e.g. loan processing, finance ops, compliance, servicing, paralegal work and/or application review)</li> <li>Experience in roles where success is measured by accuracy, completeness, and efficiency</li> <li>Comfort collaborating cross-functionally and escalating issues as needed</li> <li>Strong written and communication skills</li> <li>Excellent problem solving skills</li> <li>Ability to develop and foster cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders</li> <li>Strong computer &amp; CRM skills, with a preference for Salesforce experience</li> <li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred</li> </ul> <p>Our team is what makes us great. The base salary for this role is $65k, with uncapped earning potential for high performers and an average annual compensation of $74k.
