We are looking for a Manager of Accounting to join our Consolidations team under Corporate Finance! In this role, you will be managing the consolidation of financials across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with corporate policies and GAAP. Key responsibilities include coordinating the consolidation process, preparing and reviewing consolidated financial reports, and supporting certain SEC reporting requirements. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Consolidations and requires technical expertise, attention to detail, leadership skills, and collaboration across teams in a fast-paced environment! Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA.  A day in the life of the Manager of Accounting:<ul><li>Lead the monthly global consolidation process, including review of consolidation journal entries.</li><li>Serve as an expert user and administrator of the Company’s financial consolidated system, assist with system testing and upgrades.</li><li>Review consolidated financial reporting packages prepared for Investor Relations and Senior Management, and external stakeholders.</li><li>Oversee the accounting and reporting for our philanthropic trust, The Hasbro Children’s Fund.</li><li>Provide critical support and analysis to executive management by investigating key accounting issues and developing recommendations.</li><li>Partner with our various business divisions to assist with accounting questions.</li><li>Act as a key liaison to the external auditors to facilitate an efficient audit process.</li><li>Build strong relationships with operational leaders to provide timely guidance on accounting matters.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in consolidation processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.</li><li>Complete ad hoc projects assigned by senior management, including analysis of business operations, proposed accounting treatment, or other accounting and finance-related. matters.</li></ul> What you’ll Bring:<ul><li>6+ years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance roles of increasing responsibility.</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of public accounting (Big 4 experience preferred).</li><li>Must possess a deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.</li><li>A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant designation is preferred.</li><li>Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines.</li><li>Reviews performance and progress on a regular basis to ensure the team is achieving results.</li><li>Demonstrated success in the development of staff and others toward improved skills, independence, and self-initiative.</li><li>Ability to earn trust and credibility within the organization, and capable of developing effective business relationships with all members of the company’s senior leadership team.</li></ul> We are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action EmployerHasbro is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions.
