Job Family:Software Development &amp; Support (Digital) Travel Required:Up to 10% Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:  Full-Stack developer responsible for the design and implementation of a distributed enterprise application with external and internal interfaces utilizing Microservices and business automation patterns to modernize an existing system from the ground up.<ul><li>The candidate will focus on full-stack design, implementation and testing of the software built on a new technology stack using industry standard tools and design patterns.</li><li>Design, develop and test enterprise web services API’s and backend services</li><li>Design, develop and test UIs that utilize REST APIs</li><li>Work with product management to translate requirements into technical design and provide estimates</li><li>Define and implement unit and integration tests</li><li>Develop high quality, shippable code in short increments</li><li>Work closely with engineering and QA to manage and improve the development pipeline</li><li>Work closely with security to meet required security controls</li></ul> What You Will Need:<ul><li>US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust.</li><li>Minimum of Four(4) years of experience in developer software engineering.</li><li>Expert in enterprise software design, implementation, and deployment.</li><li>Proficient with JavaScript and Ajax, Angular or React.</li><li>Strong programming experience in Java, including Spring Boot or similar framework.</li><li>Proficient working with Scrum based development team.</li><li>JIRA, Bamboo or Jenkins, Bitbucket (Git), Confluence.</li><li>Proficient with JSON, YAML, XML.</li><li>Proficiency working with distributed, modular system architectures (i.e. Microservices, SOA).</li><li>Strong understanding of TCP/IP network stack and best practices for enterprise application security.</li><li>Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift.</li><li>Cloud Development.</li><li>Web accessibility knowledge.</li><li>Experience using Postman or similar tool for testing web services.</li><li>Experience with application servers/containers such as JBoss, Tomcat or similar.</li><li>Extensive experience utilizing continuous integration and deployment tools.</li><li>Experience working with relational and NoSQL data stores.</li></ul> What Would Be Nice To Have:<ul><li>Perform code reviews.</li><li>Discipline to document your own code.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.</li><li>Ability to communicate ideas in a variety of formats.</li><li>Adheres to Agile development methodology.</li><li>Experience leading, either formally or informally, a small team of engineers.</li><li>Eclipse, IntelliJ, VS Code or similar IDE.</li><li>GCP certification or familiarity with GCP.</li><li>Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services (GCP Vertex AI, AWS Sagemaker, Or Azure ML) and MLOps practices (CI/CD for ML, model monitoring).</li><li>Programming skills in Python for building, training, and deploying ML models.</li></ul>The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
