In this role, the candidate will collect, transform, integrate, and analyze data to identify trends, assess performance, and develop visualizations in support of organizational and mission goals and data-driven decision-making for the client. &gt;Develop and maintain data governance documentation, tools, and templates. &gt;Define data requirements and ensure storage, availability, and coherence of electronically stored information meets the client’s needs. &gt;Coordinate with non-technical users to gather requirements. &gt;Identify, summarize, and catalog data fidelity issues, and make recommendations to the client on how to resolve or mitigate the issues. &gt;Develop intuitive, attractive, and interactive data visualizations using large data sets to create dashboards, using tools such as Tableau and Power BI, for a diverse set of users with varying technical capabilities. &gt;Request, document, report, and analyze data, and where applicable, create tools and resources to support data and reporting. &gt;Support hybrid work environments involving work on client site, in a Guidehouse office, and remote.What You Will Need:&gt;An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED CBP PUBLIC TRUST. &gt;Bachelors degree is required &gt;Minimum SEVEN (7) years of experience in hands-on data engineering and/or database management &gt;Understanding of relational database concepts and structures. &gt;Demonstrated ability to perform data blending, joining, and cleaning to ensure accurate and usable datasets using querying or data engineering software tools, such as SQL, Python, R, etc. &gt;Experience using Databricks to clean, transform and integrate complex datasets into production systems. &gt;Experience using business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI to visualize large data sets. What Would Be Nice to Have: &gt;Proficiency in querying and joining datasets using SQL. &gt;Proficiency in data wrangling and analysis using Python. &gt;Proficiency developing dashboards using Tableau or Power BI. &gt;Experience supporting CBP and/or understanding of the nomenclature and organizational structure of offices within CBP.The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
