Youll form part of the Tribe pushing tech boundaries. </div><div> </div><div>While the Tribe is working on the latest in dev technologies, our DevOps Tribe is supporting a shift to Kubernetes and AWS, something you could help us shape.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Who this role might suit </strong></div><div>We’re looking for a QA Engineer with good experience of full stack web application testing; The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Agile QA best practice, automated testing suites, and working in a collaborative self-organising squad.</div><div> </div> <h2> Outcomes </h2> <div><strong>We have Agile Squads that deliver product value</strong></div><ul><li>Work within a cross-functional Agile Squad to deliver Product roadmap value</li><li>Support the squad by carrying out collaborative manual exploratory testing </li><li>Support product quality by contributing to acceptance criteria</li><li>Maintain and expand our automated pipeline using best of breed tooling</li><li>Perform peer reviews and maintain documentation needed by internal stakeholders</li><li>Work closely with rest of the development team to ensure high quality solutions</li></ul><div><strong>We identify and manage non-functional technical work </strong></div><ul><li>Identify technical debt and propose practical solutions to resolve</li><li>Measure and improve software performance and accessibility</li><li>Understand developer security responsibilities and identify issues</li></ul><div><strong>We continually improve our way of working and follow best practice </strong></div><ul><li>Add value to the wider technical team by sharing experience, learnings, and skills</li><li>Identify and share areas for continual improvement</li><li>Stay up to date with the latest tools and frameworks using allocated personal development time</li></ul><div><strong>Technologies you’ll be using:</strong></div><ul><li>Cypress: JavaScript</li><li>Cucumber/Gherkin</li><li>Automated testing tools</li><li>CI/CD Pipelines</li><li>BrowserStack</li><li>Snagit</li><li>Git</li><li>GitLab</li><li>Jira</li><li>Confluence</li><li>K6/ JMeter</li></ul> <h2> Other Information </h2> <ul><li>Permanent role 37.5 hours per week. </li><li>3-month probationary period.</li></ul><div>Candidates applying for roles at GTI will be subject to background screening.
