The Regional Property Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating and leading property management teams, collaborating with various stakeholders, and maintaining a strong understanding of the real estate market trends in the region.JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position is based in Lexington, KY and requires on-campus, in-office presence at least four days per week.The Executive Director of Housing Operations (EDHO/Regional Property Manager) provides the overall leadership for a comprehensive on-campus housing program for the University of Kentucky (UK). The EDHO works directly with UK, including residence life, student accounts services, and auxiliary services, to support the University’s academic mission and strategic priorities. Greystar is responsible for the facilities management of 15 buildings, comprising 7,500 residence hall and apartment-style beds. The EDHO oversees approximately 42 full-time employees, 10 part-time employees, 80 summer conferences student staff, and a multi-million-dollar budget. The EDHO serves as the primary link and interface between UK, Greystar, students, and facilities management/building operations. She/he is responsible for positively contributing to a high-quality, living-learning residential experience for UK students. The EDHO provides leadership and direct supervision to five department leaders (occupancy management, finance, operations, administration, &amp; facilities), which constitute the senior management team.Specific responsibilities include the oversight of all budget and administrative activities, human resources, housing assignments, marketing, facilities management and emergency planning/responsiveness. This role also has direct responsibility for the successful execution of a robust, annual summer conference and occupancy business and critical turnover program, as well as indirect responsibility for the oversight of a third-party custodial services provider in all 15 residence halls. The EDHO works alongside UK’s Office of Residence Life to support the on-campus student experience. Additionally, the EDHO is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of all departmental budgets. The EDHO is responsible for crafting, executing, and evaluating all housing-focused systems and processes that support enrollment and retention, align with institutional objectives, and support the operational and financial goals of Greystar and UK Campus Housing.
