Because creating a better, brighter future for the next generation depends on it.</div><h3>Your day-to-day:</h3><ul><li>Design, build, and deploy AI-powered software solutions to support Greenlight’s AI initiatives across user-facing products, fraud detection, customer service automation, marketing automation, and more</li><li>Develop tools and infrastructure to support advanced AI  workflows including agentic architectures  as well as future work in distillation and fine-tuning</li><li>Partner with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to bring new AI features to life quickly and iteratively</li><li>Implement and optimize prompt engineering strategies, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector stores, and chain-of-thought reasoning capabilities.</li><li>Ensure robust integration of AI systems into our core architecture, with high performance and scalability</li><li>Contribute to our AI infrastructure and pipelines</li><li>Own the end-to-end lifecycle of your work—from ideation to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement</li><li>Push the boundaries of what’s possible with state-of-the-art AI technologies, working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team</li></ul><h3>What you’ll bring to the team:</h3><ul><li>Proven experience building and deploying AI Agents and applications in production.</li><li>Solid understanding of LLMs, Generative AI concepts, and agentic architectures (e.g., multi-agent systems, tool usage, and fine-tuning).</li><li>Hands-on experience with advanced prompt engineering and a modern AI framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.</li><li>Solid software engineering experience building microservices or APIs (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, <a href="http://node.js/">Node.js</a>), with fluency in Python or JavaScript.</li><li>Experience with AI Agent deployment and monitoring, including methods for testing and monitoring non-deterministic agents.</li><li>Familiarity with at least one major ML platform (e.g., Databricks, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI).</li><li>A track record of shipping high-impact products or research in fast-moving environments.</li><li>Curiosity and excitement for working at the cutting edge of AI—paired with the pragmatism to apply it where it makes the most impact.</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Experience with a JVM language (Java, Kotlin, Scala, etc.).</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus) for both traditional software and AI applications.</li><li>Direct experience with fine-tuning LLMs for specific tasks.</li></ul><h3>Work perks at Greenlight:</h3><ul><li>Medical, dental, vision, and HSA match </li><li>Paid life insurance, AD&amp;D, and disability benefits </li><li>Traditional 401k with company match</li><li>Unlimited PTO </li><li>Paid company holidays and pop-up bonus holidays </li><li>Professional development stipends</li><li>Mental health resources  </li><li>1:1 financial planners</li><li>Fertility healthcare</li><li>100% paid parental and caregiving leave, plus cleaning service and meals during your leave</li><li>Flexible WFH, both remote and in-office opportunities</li><li>Fully stocked kitchen, catered lunches, and occasional in-office happy hours</li><li>Employee resource groups</li></ul><div><b>Our stance on salaries:</b></div><div><span>Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more.
