Reporting into our VP of FP&amp;A, you will drive significant FP&amp;A deliverables, as well as manage, lead and grow an impactful team. You’ll collaborate with partners across Marketing, R&amp;D, and G&amp;A departments to help our leadership gain key insights into our business and support optimal decision-making across the organization. As a strategic and analytical partner for the company, you have a passion for continuous improvement and can implement seamlessly within the context of a dynamic environment. <h2> Who will love this job</h2> <ul> <li>A partner - you work with multiple collaborators and guide cross-functional teams through complex analysis with confidence and ease</li> <li>A data junkie - you are passionate about effective reporting and its power to guide executive-level decisions</li> <li>A strategic problem solver - you see the “big picture” and contribute ideas on how to make Greenhouse an even better company than it is today</li> <li>A passionate driver - you work with purpose and persistence</li> </ul> <h2> What you’ll do</h2> <ul> <li>Act as a proactive and influential business partner to executive leadership and cross-functional department heads (Marketing, R&amp;D, G&amp;A) to identify and articulate financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive company growth</li> <li>Translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for various stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives</li> <li>Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance sophisticated financial models to support accurate forecasting, strategic planning, and operational decision-making</li> <li>In close collaboration with the VP of FP&amp;A, lead the end-to-end annual budgeting, multi-year strategic planning, and quarterly/monthly forecasting processes</li> <li>Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial reporting packages for the Board of Directors and executive leadership, including in-depth analysis of financial performance, key trends, and strategic initiatives</li> <li>Develop and implement KPIs and metrics to monitor business health and performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth</li> </ul> <h2> You should have</h2> <ul> <li>12+ years of experience in FP&amp;A</li> <li>Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, including annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning</li> <li>Strong data and analytical skills with the ability to use data to develop forecasts, infer trends, and derive insights from data</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex analysis and utilize data-driven analysis to be a strategic and technical partner</li> <li>Mastery over Excel/Google Sheets and experience with Adaptive (or another cloud-based planning tool)</li> <li>Experience building and leading high-performing teams with diverse levels of expertise</li> <li>Adaptability; you thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities shift quickly</li> <li>Your own unique talents! The national pay range for this role is $169,000 - $223,510. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidates experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role. For US-based employees, we offer short-term and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and company match.
