Job PurposeAs a Pre-Sales Product Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in pre-sales strategy, helping sales showcase the value of Great Minds curricula. Working alongside our Sales and Success Go-to-Market teams, you will create and deliver sales presentations and pilot trainings and support, tailoring content to address regional and district-specific needs.  This role is an exceptional opportunity for skilled teachers, instructional coaches, or pre-sales specialists who are experienced in implementing a high-quality curriculum, to contribute to Great Minds’ organizational mission to ensure all students have access to a high-quality, knowledge-based education. Reports To Manager, Pre-Sales Product Specialists   Responsibilities<ul><li>Deliver compelling, market-driven sales presentations that effectively communicate the value of Great Minds curricula. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with field sales team members (RSMs, ASDs, ARs) to customize presentations based on regional and account-specific strategies. </li></ul><ul><li>Partner with ASMs in pre-sales customer conversations exploring solutions opportunities and pilot options. </li></ul><ul><li>Deliver persuasive sales presentations and support pre-sales efforts, including strategy development, training, and preparation activities. </li></ul><ul><li>Facilitate pilot training sessions for educators and provide ongoing support to ensure successful pilot implementation aligned with account strategies. </li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrate deep knowledge of Great Minds products and effectively connect them to educational trends, district priorities, and instructional best practices. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate effectively with internal sales teams while also taking initiative and working independently. </li></ul><ul><li>Stay current on educational trends, priorities, and pedagogy to inform strategic sales initiatives and client interactions. </li></ul><ul><li>Deliver live pre-sales webinars that are customized to district needs </li></ul><ul><li>Handle customer questions and overcome objections </li></ul><ul><li>Utilize knowledge of competitors products to better position Great Minds products </li></ul></div></div><h2>Job requirements</h2><div><div>Requirements<ul><li>At least 3 years of experience teaching, coaching, or pre-sales support </li></ul><ul><li>Experience working in educational sales or curriculum implementation  </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency with or alignment to Great Minds instructional design and pedagogy </li></ul><ul><li>Engaging presentation and communication skills </li></ul><ul><li>Deep understanding of educational curricula and instructional strategies </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to build rapport with educators and stakeholders at all levels </li></ul><ul><li>Strong organizational habits necessary for successful goal setting, project management, collective decision making, deadline execution, and record keeping </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to make solutions-oriented decisions through flexible thinking in an ambiguous, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment </li></ul><ul><li>Digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack and PowerPoint  </li></ul>Attributes<ul><li>Passion for and commitment to the importance of high-quality, knowledge-rich curriculum </li></ul><ul><li>Commitment to high standards, instructional quality, and continuous improvement for oneself and others </li></ul><ul><li>Receptivity to feedback with a focus on reflective practice </li></ul><ul><li>Highly collaborative with the ability to consistently exhibit diplomacy, tact, and integrity </li></ul><ul><li>Appreciation for the challenges and victories faced everyday by educators and their leaders working toward improving student learning outcomes </li></ul><ul><li>Empathy, curiosity, and the desire to continually grow as a learner </li></ul><ul><li>Deep belief that every child is capable of greatness </li></ul>Travel The Pre-Sales Product Specialist may travel up to 80% of the time during peak sales times (Aug-Nov; Jan – May).  Based on the regional needs across Great Minds, occasional travel beyond this region is possible. A valid driver’s license and willingness to fly and drive are required for this position. Must reside near a major airport. Required EducationBachelors degree  LocationRemote (Preferred Locations: East of the Mississippi River - Candidates should be open to supporting Pre-Sales efforts in the Central/East United States) The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$94,000, however the offered salary may be higher or lower than the above range dependent on numerous factors including, but not limited to location, work experience, skills and internal equity considerations.. The base salary is not inclusive of benefits or other incentives.A cover letter and resume are required to be considered for this position.
