This blended role is ideal for a strategic HR professional who thrives in both operational and enterprise-level talent development work.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>You’ll be a member of the UK Senior Leadership Team, serve as a trusted advisor to UK-based leaders and employees, deliver full-spectrum HR support, and drive and embed talent development programs across the organization. As the organization grows, this role will also be responsible for leading efforts, alongside our US-based Talent Acquisition team, to manage full lifecycle recruiting efforts. </span></div><div><br /></div><div>This role requires 3 days onsite at our central London UK location - 210 Euston London NW1 2DA. </div><h3>Responsibilities </h3><ul><li><b>HR Business Partner – UK Site</b></li><li>Act as the primary HRBP for our UK site, providing proactive HR leadership and support across all facets of the employee lifecycle.</li><li>Support employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture as part of the UK Senior Leadership Team.</li><li>Serve as a trusted advisor to the UK senior leadership team and employees, offering guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent planning, and organizational design.</li><li>Keep abreast of and ensure compliance with local employment laws and maintain alignment with global GRAIL policies and practices.</li><li>Drive local hiring efforts in partnership with the US-based Talent Acquisition team.</li><li>Monitor and update monthly payroll submissions in collaboration with the local finance partner.</li><li>Oversee annual reviews of UK benefits offerings and manage UK benefits suppliers and advisers, in collaboration with the Total Rewards team. </li><li>Manage employee relations matters with a balanced, solutions-focused approach, as necessary, in collaboration with the ER and Legal functions.</li><div><br /></div><li><b>Talent Management</b></li><li>As part of our Talent Management team (TMX), participate in the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our global talent management programs with initial focus on our management &amp; leadership development across all levels (emerging, mid-level, and senior leaders). Specifically, this will include:</li><li>Developing Leadership Strategies: Creating comprehensive plans to cultivate leadership qualities within the organization.</li><li>Designing and Delivering Training: Developing and delivering training programs, workshops, and resources to improve leadership skills.</li><li>Managing Programs: Implementation and facilitation of leadership development programs, including timeline adherence.</li><li>Assessing: Evaluating the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives and making adjustments as needed.</li><li>Collaborating with Stakeholders: Working with TMX team members, People Business Partners, and other stakeholders to align leadership development goals.</li><li>Promoting a Leadership Culture: Fostering a culture that values and supports leadership development throughout the organization.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in an HRBP role.</li><li>Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development strategies and programs.</li><li>Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR practices.</li><li>Strong consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently in a hybrid or geographically dispersed team environment.</li><li>Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (life sciences, technology, or healthcare preferred).</li><li>High degree of emotional intelligence, adaptability, and business acumen.</li><div><br /></div><li><b>Highly Preferred Qualifications</b></li><li>Experience working in a global HR function or with international teams.</li><li>Certification in coaching or leadership assessments (e.g., StrengthsFinder, Hogan, MBTI, Korn Ferry, DiSC).</li><li>Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field or equivalent</li></ul><div>Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan.
