Job Description
About the Role
As a Software Engineer, youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare accessibility. Your job will be designing, building, and iterating on customer facing flows. Your contributions will directly impact millions of users by maintaining high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions. Youll own end-to-end feature development, ensuring that our solutions meet business and user needs.
Responsibilities:
Utilize your full-stack skills to solve customer experience problems.
Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and other Engineers
Be a team player, collaborate, and learn from those around you
Write clean, fast, compatible, easy-to-use, and testable code
Write unit tests for new features, and improve coverage for existing ones
Create and participate in code reviews
Contribute and maintain documentation both within the codebase and in an external documentation site
Comply with and help improve engineering standards and processes
Maintain an understanding of the business requirements and work closely with stakeholders to understand what they need and why
Bring an agile, iterative, and curious mindset to every challenge
Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of software development experience, delivering products at web scale
Experience with React, TypeScript, React Context, NodeJS, ES6, GraphQL
Next.js or other modern frontend frameworks
Tailwind or other modern CSS frameworks
Experience communicating with REST APIs
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines / workflows
Ability to integrate 3rd party SDKs and APIs
Effective remote collaboration skills with distributed teams
Self-motivated with ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for problem solving and innovating
Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience
Good To Have:
Experience with observability and monitoring (Datadog, Fabric, Crashlytics, Embrace, NewRelic, etc.)
Experience with Go
Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
Experience with Content Management Systems like Contentful
