The GoFundMe team is searching for our next Manager, Cloud Security Engineering and Security Operations to support our CloudSec and SecOps teams. In this position, you’ll recruit, mentor, and grow an already solid team of security engineers and analysts dedicated to helping people help each other. The Job <ul> <li>Build &amp; lead your team: Mentor and support security engineers, establishing scalable practices for security-focused engineering, design review, and consultation.</li> <li>Drive execution: Coordinate with our organization TPM and the CISO, handle sprint planning, resource allocation, and risk management to deliver on individual, team, and organization goals.</li> <li>Institute best practices: Champion CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and strong security postures from day one.</li> </ul> You  <ul> <li>2+ years managing engineering teams, that can be formally-titled management or as a senior engineer or team lead.</li> <li>5+ years architecting and scaling cloud or security systems, with a strong track record of embedding security controls early in product or infrastructure design.</li> <li>Have a strategic mindset and are comfortable with ambiguity. The total annual salary for this full-time position is $163,000 - $245,000 + equity + benefits.  As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
