Summary
Ada Infrastructure is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Center Sales Engineer to join our dynamic and expanding Product & Revenue team, based in Japan.

As a Data Center Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving our customer success, growth of Ada Infrastructure’s revenue and brand throughout APAC, and development of data center solutions and services. You will leverage your technical expertise, industry knowledge, and strong communication skills to engage directly with clients, understand their unique requirements, and provide tailored solutions that address their data center infrastructure needs. This role requires a blend of technical acumen and sales prowess to effectively articulate the value of our offerings and foster lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations. Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights into industry best practices, trends, and innovations related to data center technologies.
  • Proposal & Due Diligence Support: Prepare detailed technical deliverables in response to customer due diligence and solicitations (including RFIs, RFPs, SOQs,) clearly articulating the proposed solutions, scope of work, business value, and delivery timelines.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to gather technical requirements and design customized data center solutions that align with their business objectives, scalability needs, and budget constraints.
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to participate in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposal development, showcasing the technical features and benefits of our data center offerings.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with commercial and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of data center solutions, addressing any technical challenges and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the implementation process.
  • Product & Market Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, product developments, and emerging technologies related to data center infrastructure, continuously enhancing Ada’s capabilities to competitively position our offerings.

Additional Information

Salary commensurate with experience and background. This position is based in Tokyo CBD (Directly connected to Tokyo Station), Japan.
