We generally look for the following qualifications: <ul> <li>Experience: Software development experience.</li> <li>Leadership &amp; Ownership: You have a proven track record of leading complex technical projects and taking ownership of their outcomes.</li> <li>System Design: You have demonstrable experience designing, building, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and highly available systems.</li> <li>AI Proficiency: You leverage AI development tools like Github Copilot and Gemini in a deliberate and effective way, while also understanding their limitations and maintaining accountability for your work.</li> <li>Technical Foundation: You possess a strong understanding of web security principles, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.</li> <li>Cloud Proficiency: You are familiar with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and have experience running containerized applications.</li> <li>Quality &amp; Testing: You are committed to code quality and have experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development.</li> <li>CI/CD: You have knowledge of continuous integration, deployment, and delivery practices.</li> </ul> <h3>Nice-to-Haves</h3> <ul> <li>You have Experience with at least one of: Elixir, Ruby, Go, TypeScript</li> <li>You are familiar with event-driven architecture.</li> <li>You have knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies like OAuth, OIDC, or SAML.</li> <li>You have used Amazon Bedrock and know the strength and limitations of different AI models</li> <li>You have built cross-platform applications with Electron or similar frameworks.</li> <li>You have experience with visual regression or UX testing frameworks.</li> </ul> <h3>Our Tech Stack</h3> <ul> <li>Backend: Elixir, Go, Ruby, Node.js, TypeScript, Python</li> <li>Frontend: React, JavaScript, TypeScript</li> <li>Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Istio</li> <li>Databases &amp; Persistence: PostgreSQL (RDS), DynamoDB, Redis/Valkey, Apache Druid</li> <li>Event Streaming &amp; Messaging: Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ</li> <li>Voice Infrastructure: Kamailio, FreeSwitch, Homer</li> <li>AI: Amazon Bedrock, Github CoPilot, Google Gemini</li> <li>CI/CD &amp; Build Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD</li> <li>Monitoring: DataDog, Sentry</li> <li>Cross-platform Desktop: Electron</li> </ul> <h3>Ready to Apply?</h3> If youre excited about this role and see yourself making an impact, we want to hear from you.
