Working with product teams, you will look at customer behaviors across the customer journey and help make the customer experience and business outcomes better. As a member of the Product Data Insights team, you will develop BI solutions to understand usage activity, create and own multiple Product Key Performance Indicators, develop a deep understanding of product health and the customer experience, advance data acumen across the company, and promote strategic decisions through data storytelling.</p> <p>This role will have a focus on GitLab Duo (GitLab’s AI offering) and partnering with the AI teams on understanding Duo Agent Platform adoption and usage behavior.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong>  </p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders from IC Product Managers to leadership</li> <li>Gather disparate data points to tell a cohesive story about product usage</li> <li>Establish reporting on new products and conduct analysis on usage</li> <li>Work with UX partners to understand behavioral patterns</li> <li>Collaborate with Engineering teams on data collection methodologies</li> <li>Mentor more junior team members and give actionable feedback on how to approve analyses</li> <li>Work with Enterprise Data team on data modeling requirements for reporting and analysis</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Bring </strong></p> <ul> <li>Expert level SQL skills</li> <li>Deep experience in BI visualization and development (we use Tableau)</li> <li>Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams on data creation and instrumentation</li> <li>Experience working with Data and Analytics Engineering teams on modeling data for reporting and analysis</li> <li>Experience conducting and analyzing A/B tests</li> <li>Experience working in Python</li> <li>(Full requirements on <a href="https://handbook.gitlab.com/job-families/product/product-analyst/#staff-product-analyst">job family page</a>)</li> </ul> <p><strong>About the team</strong></p> <p>The Product Data Insights team consists of a manager and product analysts and resides in the Product Management organization.
