Responsible for providing cross functional project management support to improve billing quality, reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and increase customer and USCAN (United States and Canada region) commercial team satisfaction. Collaborate with GE HealthCare’s (GEHC) USCAN cash e.g. region collections, triage and commercial teams to identify, root cause and implement solutions to reduce past dues (PDs) and increase cash.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the ongoing USCAN PDs PSP and 5 why analysis; host and lead weekly rhythms with the equipment and service teams in proactively identifying accounts with continue PDs and identify upstream root causes; work the 5 why analysis to determine what sustainable action plans need to be made to ensure issue is resolved on an ongoing vs. one-off transactional basis.
  • As the Cash Operations leader you would work collaboratively with the cash team including but not limited to the Senior Collection Analysts (Triage), Region Cash Leaders, Region CFOs for all HCS to identify common billing errors impacting our customers’ ability to pay. Once identified, the Cash Ops leader will need to be able to build strong relationships and work cross-functionally across USCAN to correct issues with the commercial, OMS, Services, Tax, Finance, Controllership teams.
  • Lead creation of standard of work and standard roles and responsibilities across the USCAN cash and finance community; this included ensuring best practices are shared across the Regional cash team including lessons learned from site visits and PSPs. In addition, the cash ops leader will help create playbooks across different topics identified from our customers e.g. customer migrations as well as our internal teams e.g. write-off process. The Cash Ops leader will create reviews with the Regional Commercials teams e.g. RPs, MVPs, AEs to ensure we are seeking feedback on how to improve collaboration and time spent on cash collections efforts and share those across teams.
  • The Cash Ops leader will drive functional teams and projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and complexity. They will need to be able to communicate difficult concepts and influence key stakeholders on topics to implement action plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
  • 4+ years of experience in areas such as accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, compliance management, and team leadership
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma

  • Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)
  • Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
  • Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions 
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
  • Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
  • Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $97,920.00-$146,880.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
