Job Description Summary
The Market Access National Account Executive serves as a key liaison and primary point of contact between GE HealthCare and assigned national payers, strategic customers, and select state Medicaid agencies. This role is instrumental in driving market access strategies and expanding coverage for GE HealthCare’s Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) portfolio, the world’s leading supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents. PDx products play a critical role in enhancing medical imaging exams across major disease diagnostic and treatment pathways, impacting three patients every second worldwide.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Payer & Customer Engagement: Develop and implement strategic account plans to secure, maintain, and expand coverage for both new and existing PDx products. Ensure the development of appropriate medical coverage policies.
- Provider Reimbursement Strategy: Design and execute strategies to support provider reimbursement for PDx products, ensuring accessibility and financial sustainability.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within assigned health plans and payer organizations, including C-suite executives, to effectively communicate the value of PDx products.
- Clinical & Economic Evidence Communication: Collaborate with Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Affairs, and Evidence Generation teams to deliver compelling value proposition presentations, clinical evidence, and analytical tools to both payers and providers.
- Advocacy & Market Awareness: Partner with Marketing and Medical Affairs to engage with regional advocacy groups, physician key opinion leaders, and medical societies to enhance patient access to PDx products.
- Market & Policy Monitoring: Continuously track and analyze changes in national and regional medical policies, reimbursement trends, and coverage landscapes related to the PDx portfolio.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Field Commercial team to address customer inquiries and provide tailored solutions for access and reimbursement.
- Presentations & Training: Develop and deliver impactful presentations for site visits, virtual client meetings, training sessions, and large group discussions, often interacting directly with provider office staff.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the US healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry.
- Strong expertise in US Market Access, including State Medicaid, Managed Medicaid, reimbursement strategies, medical policy, claims processing, and payment mechanisms.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead strategic initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Ability to travel as needed to engage with payers, customers, and field teams.
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience securing positive medical coverage policies with US payers.
- Background in radiopharmaceuticals, medical imaging, or diagnostics.
- Product launch experience within the healthcare sector.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $165,440.00-$248,160.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
