Job Description

Role Overview/Purpose:

GE HealthCare is on a journey to enhance its digital presence, improve customer engagement, and grow ecommerce revenue. A key factor in this success is transforming and modernizing the GEHealthCare.com digital experience. This involves evolving the site with speed, agility, and scale to meet customer needs and deliver an innovative experience.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a growth-minded Director of Digital Experience and eCommerce who will focus on improving the web experience. This role thrives in a fast-paced environment, continuously seeks improvement, and enjoys collaboration. As a key member of the Global Digital Marketing team, the Director will lead experience strategy and digital transformation for GEHealthCare.com, managing a team of four digital strategists. This role requires senior-level consulting and expertise in marketing technology and digital experience strategies to accelerate customer acquisition and product sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of GEHC’s websites to Adobe Experience Manager and serve as the business owner of the web experience.
  • Prioritize the development backlog by maintaining and enhancing a scoring model that considers business impact and development effort.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing stakeholders to understand business objectives, industry challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, IT, and marketing teams to improve the ecommerce experience.
  • Work seamlessly with peers in Global Digital Marketing and functional marketing teams to develop journey-based digital marketing strategies and programs.
  • Build positive relationships with internal partners and stakeholders to activate and drive adoption of digital experience best practices.
  • Ensure end-to-end alignment on improvements and opportunities with Sales, Brand, Marketing, UX, and IT teams.
  • Surface and prioritize customer issues in existing web experiences, leveraging customer insights and best practices.
  • Stay updated on changes to GEHC’s audiences, business strategies, marketing strategies, industry dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Utilize customer-centric tools such as journey maps, personas, and Voice of the Customer feedback data to inform decision-making.
  • Make compelling recommendations to enhance digital experiences using data and customer insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 9+ years of digital marketing experience across web, social, search, email, events, or paid media.
  • 3+ years of experience managing or optimizing websites
  • Experience optimizing ecommerce websites, preferably in the B2B space
  • Prior experience migrating enterprise CMS platforms, with a strong preference for Adobe Experience Manager experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience working directly with developers, designers, and analysts.
  • Strong understanding of web best practices and tactics.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform and prioritize roadmaps.
  • Familiarity with website testing concepts and techniques.
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to initiate new initiatives and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience developing outputs such as personas, journey maps, user flows, and information architecture.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $141,600.00-$212,400.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
