<h1><b><b><b>Job Description Summary</b></b></b></h1>Role Summary/Purpose<br />The Manager, Molecular Imaging Contract Negotiations is responsible overseeing the contract process for the Molecular Imaging division of the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics business in addition to managing a small team. This individual will use business and legal judgment to analyze, structure, draft, review, and negotiate contracts with strategic and key customers, distributors, group purchasing organizations, and governmental entities.   Ensure customer requests for proposal / information (RFPs and RFIs) are complete, accurate, and submitted timely. Applies sound judgment to identify, evaluate and negotiate contract terms and conditions and other related requirements/risks. Lead process improvement initiatives to support our lean strategy.<p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><p><b>Essential Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead and participate in all contract responsibilities while managing team members.</li><li>Provide contract status and visibility to Sales leadership as well help prioritize high value contracts for completion. </li><li>Provide training, coaching and priority setting for the MI Contract Negotiation Manager team. </li><li>Manage the queue for contract requests; assign work to ensure team meets / exceeds business cycle requirements as well as triage expedite requests</li><li>Advise sales and business teams on agreement structure, risks, and alternatives. </li><li>Collaborate with various business functions including Legal to draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts.</li><li>Consult with legal team, compliance, and other business functions to ensure that templates are in compliance with legal requirements and best practices.</li><li>Facilitate cross-functional meetings; manage agenda, post minutes, and manage participants.</li><li>Actively participate and assist with executing new product launches, pilot programs and other commercial initiatives.</li><li>Assist with managing contract templates including the systematic review of templates and playbooks and incorporate best contracting practices and provisions.</li><li>Assist with maintaining SOPs and Guide Sheets specific to Contract Authoring.</li><li>Collaborate with trainers to design and deliver training materials for Sales with respect to contracting processes, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Actively participate in the periodic review of 5.0 and 6.0 flags to ensure they meet the needs of PDx.</li><li>Identify, participate, and lead process improvement initiatives to support our lean strategy.</li><li>Provide cross coverage for other contract modalities responsibilities as needed. </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications / Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or paralegal certification with 7+ years of related experience</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of people management experience is REQUIRED</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience with contract drafting and negotiation with customer/client interaction and managing successful relationships</li><li>Experience in the HealthCare, Pharmaceutical, and/or Life Sciences industry</li><li>Demonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals from multiple departments at all levels of the organization</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, language proficiency in English</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p>We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.&amp;#xa;&amp;#xa;For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $108,200.00-$162,300.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
