<h1><b><b><b>Job Description Summary</b></b></b></h1>The Asset Tracking Technician is an on-site role responsible for keeping the overall RTLS hardware infrastructure online and reporting any unresolved discrepancies to the off-site support team. That’s because we never lose sight of what healthcare really needs—the human touch.<p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><p>Essential Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Manage the RTLS Encompass infrastructure at all sites included in the region</p></li><li><p>Monitor Encompass hardware performance to ensure system is functioning as intended</p></li><li><p>Perform remediation activities on all offline devices, replacing those as needed</p></li><li><p>Gather move-add-change (MAC) requirements and install as requested</p></li><li><p>Order and configure new hardware as needed</p></li><li><p>Supervise all third-party vendor Encompass-related activities</p></li><li><p>Report Encompass site health metrics to our internal client representatives</p></li><li><p>Lead projects from inception to completion using standard project management skills</p></li><li><p>Assist in equipment tagging efforts as needed</p></li><li><p>Provide on-going end user Encompass training</p></li><li><p>Communicate new functionality to end users</p></li><li><p>Perform remediation activities on all offline devices, replacing those as needed</p></li><li><p>Assist with standardization of Label Nomenclature and Coverage Issues</p></li><li><p>Escalate issues with Support team</p></li><li><p>Perform basic QGIS tracing of floorplans</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Qualifications/Requirements</b></h2><ul><li><p>Associate’s degree OR participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated understanding of medical equipment movement within a clinical care setting</p></li><li><p>Ability to obtain unrestricted Hospital Vendor Credentialing</p></li><li><p>Proven customer interaction skills and customer focus</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate an understanding of Wi-Fi fundamentals</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently</p></li><li><p>Clearly communicate and interface with Biomedical Technicians, Customers and Internal GEHC stakeholders.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Desired Characteristics</b></h2><ul><li><p>Support experience with real-time locating systems (RTLS)</p></li><li><p>Experience working in hospital environment</p></li><li><p>Familiar with hospital departments, medical equipment and it’s uses</p></li><li><p>Understanding of standard hospital policies and processes</p></li></ul><p></p><p>We expect all employees to live and breathe our behaviors: to act with humility and build trust; lead with transparency; deliver with focus, and drive ownership –always with unyielding integrity.</p><p></p><p>Our total rewards are designed to unlock your ambition by giving you the boost and flexibility you need to turn your ideas into world-changing realities.
