Your responsibilities will include mounting ArUco tags to warehouse racking faces, collecting measurements, and ensuring accurate drone deployment according to established guidelines. This position requires hands-on building experience, attention to detail, and the ability to travel extensively.</p> </div> </div> <div> <h3>What Youll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Assist in the setup of warehouses for fully autonomous drone flights.</li> <li>Mount ArUco tags to warehouse racking faces following the pattern defined by the lead Forward Deployed Engineer, utilizing a scissor lift or elevated work platform.</li> <li>Collect accurate measurements of warehouse racks.</li> <li>Adhere to safety guidelines outlined by Gather AI and the current customer site.</li> <li>Maintain consistent and accurate attendance as per the schedule provided by the lead Forward Deployed Engineer.</li> <li>Record tag placement exceptions and aisle sectioning within the Data Collection Sheet (DCS).</li> <li>Be accountable for all Gather AI equipment and materials provided for use during deployment.</li> <li>Maintain a professional appearance and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with Gather AI core values and policies.</li> <li>Demonstrate excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Utilize hands-on building/fabricating experience with cart hardware, drone hardware, hand tools, power tools, etc.</li> </ul> <h3>What Youll Need</h3> <ul> <li>Experience as a technician or in a technically-focused, customer-facing role</li> <li>Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills</li> <li>Thorough understanding of Excel/Google Sheets</li> <li>Ability to travel ~80% of time including some weekends (valid drivers license)</li> <li>Possess forklift certification or be willing to complete the forklift certification course</li> <li>Willingness to submit to a drug test if required</li> <li>Be prepared for the possibility of abnormal working hours and 1-4 week-long trips</li> </ul> </div> <div> <h3>Bonus points for...</h3> <ul> <li>Knowledge of forklift mechanics</li> <li>Hands-on building/fabricating experience [cart hardware, drone hardware, machine usage (laser cutter, drills, etc.)]</li> <li>Experience flying drones</li> <li>Experience teaching</li> <li>Familiarity with Warehouse or Inventory Control practices</li> </ul> </div> <div> <h3>Compensation and Benefits</h3> <ul> <li>$25/hour</li> <li>Very flexible schedule</li> <li>Opportunity for hands-on experience in cutting-edge technology</li> <li>Potential for growth within the organization</li> </ul> </div> <div> <div>If this sounds like a good fit we’d love to meet you.
