Your research portfolio will provide insight, predictions and actionable advice to clients in the roles of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and Cybersecurity leaders. In addition, you will understand adjacent research areas and practices. What You Will Do:<ul><li>Develop “must have insights” and ideas through thought leadership and offer compelling, actionable approaches to clients needs and requests that accelerate the clients ability to act</li><li>Lead compelling interactions (virtually or in-person) to identify the root cause of a client’s barriers or overall needs and reframe thinking to drive strategy forward</li><li>Bring provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders that can evolve the course of a research agenda</li><li>Research, analyze and predict market trends and shifts to provide clients and vendors with actionable insights</li><li>Create and deliver high value presentation materials on and off stage for Gartner events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefings</li><li>Support Research and Sales: Provide sales support serving as voice of the market to help research teams create content and to drive engagement with clients to make progress against their critical priorities to grow their business</li><li>Provide high quality and timely research content peer review</li><li>Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner research, methodology and strategy</li><li>Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions and collaborate effectively with peers in the research community</li></ul>What You Will Need:<ul><li>Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred</li><li>10+ years of enterprise experience in one or more of the following disciplines:<ul><li>Software security / application security programs</li><li>Product security engineering programs</li><li>Enterprise software engineering or software architecture programs</li><li>Experience with frameworks and standards such as (NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs)</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Experience or current interest in the following research areas:<ul><li>Applying cybersecurity controls to AI and generative AI</li><li>Evaluating technology markets that support securing AI</li><li>Evaluating frameworks and standards for securing AI</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Excellent writing ability – must be able to create detailed but easy-to-understand written research to lead clients to success</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions</li><li>Superior analytical skills while applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns while drawing and defending conclusions</li><li>Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate</li><li>Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable)</li></ul>#LI-SH2#LI-RemoteWho are we? At Gartner, Inc.
