The CPO reports directly to the CEO and specifically focuses on talent management, organizational design, training and development, performance management, employee experience, compliance, and global total rewards. This role is an ambassador of Gametime’s core values and a trusted advisor to the executive team, crafting strategies and policies to ensure innovative, effective people programming and performance.</span></div><h3>What youll do / own: </h3><ul><li>Develop and execute strategic People frameworks that support company expansion, focusing on scalability and agility through organizational design in a remote-first environment.</li><li>Lead organizational design and talent management to drive high performance and achievement of business objectives.</li><li>Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on executive development and leadership matters.</li><li>Spearhead global total rewards strategies that are aligned with business objectives.</li><li>Evolve the strategy for recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.</li><li>Drive effective performance management and succession planning.</li><li>Foster a high-performance culture that aligns with our core values.</li><li>Develop and lead cutting-edge remote work policies and practices.</li><li>Translate executive decisions into clear messaging and communications that resonate with the entire company.</li><li>Establish compliance and policy frameworks to support multi-state and international operations and workforce diversification.</li></ul><h3>A little more about you: </h3><ul><li>15+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years at the executive level, ideally in a company of 200+ employees.</li><li>Significant experience in people leadership, organizational design, professional development, total rewards, talent acquisition, and HR management.</li><li>SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification preferred.</li><li>Expertise in organizational design, talent management, and performance management with a global perspective in a remote-first environment.</li><li>Proven track record of hiring, managing, developing, and leading high performance organizations and teams in a remote-first environment.</li><li>Strategic leadership skills with a track record of developing effective leadership and management development programs.</li><li>Deep understanding of HR practices, employment law, total rewards (including equity compensation at a private VC-backed company), and compliance standards across different regions.</li><li>Proven talent acquisition and recruiting management experience, including at the Executive level.</li><li>Experience setting goals and/or OKRs and leading processes that track individual and departmental performance against goals. Strong analytical skills for organizational needs assessment and strategic solution implementation including new workforce tools.</li><li>Exceptional ability to deliver values-aligned communications to key stakeholders.</li></ul><h3>A bonus if you have:</h3><ul><li>Experience in the consumer and/or marketplace industries.</li><li>Experience in M&amp;A or IPO processes.</li><li>Live events aficionado.</li><li>Availability during West Coast working hours.</li></ul><h3>What we can offer: </h3><ul><li>Flexible PTO</li><li>Equity</li><li>Medical, dental, &amp; vision insurance</li><li>Life insurance and disability benefits</li><li>401K, HSA, pre-tax savings programs</li><li>New equipment setup provided</li><li>Diverse Family-forming benefits through Carrot Fertility</li><li>Wellness programs</li><li>Tenure recognition</li></ul><div><b>Gametime is committed to bringing together individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives.
