The role:

Galileo is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to work as a client-facing resource and assist in both pre- and post-sales banking technical implementations. You’ll work as a liaison between the sales team, internal departments, and our clients to help them maximize the value of the Galileo platform.

What you’ll do:

Learn the technical ins and outs of our Cyberbank platform and become an expert on Galileo’s set of Banking APIs, tools, and services. Assist the sales team in communicating Galileo’s technical features with prospective clients. Work closely with engineers, product managers, and technical leaders to evaluate Galileo Cyberbank to understand their Banking needs.
Vet third-party providers to assess their products and capabilities, and facilitate contracts when necessary to deliver services beyond Galileos core offerings.
Document third-party providers offerings and develop integration plans for execution by our engineering teams.
Help clients architect and build their Banking platforms to maximize the benefits of their integration. Work closely with Project Managers as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout project implementations, continuing to assist clients in adhering to best practices and resolving any issues that arise. Manage internal resources to execute project plans and interface with the client. Work closely with internal business and engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that address the constantly evolving needs of our clients.

What you’ll need:

A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
Understanding of modern financial services, banking, and payment platforms.
Understanding system architecture, database structures, and web technologies (RESTful APIs).
Ability to comprehend and communicate complicated business and system processes.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to take initiative in an autonomous work environment and adapt to ambiguity and uncertainty.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.
Client-facing experience required.
Organization and prioritization skills.
Exceptional presentation skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.

$190,800—$291,500 USD
