Hit us up and lets chat. Our Value Engineering team is expanding and actively seeking a Lead Value Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Value Engineer, you will collaborate with our sales account teams to create and develop business cases derived from a value-based methodology.About the Role: As a Value Engineer you will lead moderate-sized initiatives to identify, quantify, and communicate the value delivered by our SaaS solutions to customers and internal stakeholders. You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex technical and business requirements into actionable value frameworks that drive product adoption, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct value discovery sessions with Freshworks prospects &amp; customers. Capture customer objectives and ensure outcomes are documented to demonstrate quantifiable business value.  </li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, product management, marketing, and customer success to quantify and articulate value propositions for diverse customer segments.  </li><li>Conduct detailed data analysis, cost-benefit evaluations, and business case modeling to demonstrate ROI and support customer decision-making.  </li><li>Develop compelling value presentations, demos, and documentation tailored to both technical and executive audiences.  </li><li>Mentor and support junior value engineers and other team members in best practices and methodologies.  </li><li>Continuously improve value engineering processes, frameworks, and tools to adapt to evolving SaaS business models and market demands.  </li><li>Monitor and measure realized value post-sale to drive continuous improvement and customer retention.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>Required Skills and Competencies:<ul><li>5+ years of value engineering, financial analysis, or related experience within SaaS or technology companies.  </li><li>Strong discovery skills: expert in gathering and synthesizing data from multiple sources, understanding customer needs and usage patterns.  </li><li>Advanced solutioning skills: capable of designing innovative value propositions and modeling scenarios aligned with customer business goals.  </li><li>Operational excellence: proven ability to manage projects efficiently, maintain high-quality deliverables, and incorporate continuous feedback.  </li><li>Proficiency with data analysis tools and techniques to conduct quantitative and qualitative value assessment.  </li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.  </li><li>Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.  </li><li>Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.  </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with SaaS business models, cloud technologies, and subscription-based revenue metrics.  </li><li>Familiarity with financial valuation, pricing strategies, and contract negotiation support.  </li><li>Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers or analysts.  </li><li>Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3>The annual base salary range for this position is $ 128,000 - 160,000 USD + Variable CompensationCompensation is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
