You will work closely with the finance team, external partners, and other departments to enhance financial processes and contribute to the company’s overall success.</div><div>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys taking ownership, and is eager to make a tangible impact on a global scale.</div><div><br /></div><div>To foster a collaborative environment that thrives on face-to-face interactions and teamwork, all Fresha employees work from the office four days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely one day each week.  Warsaw, Poland. office address: Central Tower, Aleje Jerozolimskie 81, 02-001, Warszawa</div><div><br /></div><h3>What you will be doing</h3><ul><li>Liaise with external accounting and audit service providers to maintain compliance and operational excellence.</li><li>Review financial records, cost invoices, and bank transactions to ensure accuracy.</li><li>Monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring compliance with internal controls.</li><li>Conduct detailed reviews of profit and loss (P&amp;L) accounts, including identifying and addressing discrepancies such as missing invoices, prepayments, or accruals.</li><li>Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.</li><li>Oversee a reconciliation process of balance sheet accounts, including cash, prepayments, and accruals, to maintain financial accuracy.</li><li>Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement automation for efficiency.</li><li>Utilize SQL to extract, analyze, and manage financial data to support decision-making and process optimization.</li><li>Write SQL queries to extract data from BI system.</li><li>Coordinate financial activities across multiple global entities .</li><li>Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations for each entity.</li><li>Prepare and present financial statements and analyses to senior leadership.</li><li>Support strategic planning and budgeting processes through financial insights and forecasting.</li><div><br /></div><div>This list is not exhaustive and there may be other activities you are required to deliver. </div><div><br /></div></ul><h3>What we are looking for</h3><ul><li>5+ years of experience in accounting or finance</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations</li><li>Financial education background</li><li>Proficiency in SQL for financial data management and analysis.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with financial systems or ERP software.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Very good knowledge of English</li><li>Very good knowledge of Excel</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.</li><div><br /></div><div>Added Bonus Bi-lingual - Fluency in English and another language</div></ul><div>At Fresha, we value passion and potential as much as specific skills.
