We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT team. This role is heavily focused on providing day-to-day technical support to our end-users, managing and resolving help desk tickets, and ensuring a smooth and productive technology experience across the company. You will be a key point of contact for employees, providing technical assistance in person, via phone, and remotely. A solid understanding of networking principles is essential for this role, as youll be involved in troubleshooting connectivity issues and working with our existing network infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.  
  • Manage and resolve help desk tickets in a timely and efficient manner, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, including desktop support, application issues, and network connectivity problems.
  • Set up and configure workstations, laptops, and other end-user devices.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure a seamless end-user experience.
  • Networking Responsibilities: Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including VPN access and firewall-related problems. Work with existing network infrastructure (Cisco Meraki, Fortinet).
  • Participate in small IT projects and initiatives..

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Proven experience providing excellent customer service and technical support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a goal-oriented approach.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • JAMF, Intune, Slack, SAAS expertise is mandatory
  • Networking Skills (Required): Familiarity with Cisco Meraki and Fortinet products, basic networking principles, VPN, and firewalls. Practical experience is a plus.
    Optional: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications)
