This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with industry-leading Fortinet and Cisco technologies while shaping the security and scalability of business-critical systems.You will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support and optimise global voice, cloud, and data centre initiatives. Expect to lead architectural upgrades, contribute to strategic planning, and serve as a technical authority for complex network issues.In this role, your expertise will directly impact operational success, enabling fast and secure communications that support advanced automation, robotics, and digital logistics platforms.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, and security infrastructure across enterprise environments</li><li>Configure and optimise Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and VPN solutions</li><li>Administer and troubleshoot Cisco switching platforms (Catalyst/Nexus), ensuring high performance and availability</li><li>Lead network upgrades, migrations, and architecture enhancements</li><li>Enforce network security standards, policies, and best practices</li><li>Provide Level 3 support and resolve escalated network incidents</li><li>Conduct capacity planning, risk assessments, and performance monitoring</li><li>Collaborate with IT teams on cloud, voice, and data centre projects</li><li>Maintain technical documentation for compliance and operational use</li><li>Evaluate and recommend emerging network technologies</li></ul>Qualifications Needed:<ul><li>5–10 years of experience in enterprise network engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a senior-level role</li><li>Proven experience working in end-user environments.</li><li>Technical expertise in:<ul><li>Fortinet stack: FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator</li><li>Cisco switching platforms: Catalyst, Nexus (VLANs, STP, QoS, EtherChannel)</li><li>Network routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP</li><li>VPN configurations: IPSec, SSL VPN, site-to-site, remote access</li><li>Network segmentation, firewall policies, HA setups, and troubleshooting security events</li><li>Infrastructure and system administration practices</li></ul></li><li>Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, syslog, SNMP)</li><li>Scripting/automation knowledge (Python, Ansible) is a plus</li><li>Strong documentation and communication skills</li><li>Fluent in English.
