Our Passion. Our Approach. </div></div></div></div></div></div></div>We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, Software Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our software products. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to build innovative products that solve customer problems and drive business growth. You will be a key decision-maker for the product roadmap and will lead a team of product managers to deliver high-quality software that aligns with our company’s goals and objectivesResponsibilities:1. Product Strategy &amp; Vision<ul><li>Lead the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the company’s software products.</li><li>Understand market trends, emerging technologies, customer pain points, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.</li><li>Define and communicate a clear product vision to ensure alignment with the overall business objectives.</li><li>Set ambitious yet achievable product goals, aligned with both short-term business needs and long-term strategic growth.</li></ul>2. Cross-functional Leadership<ul><li>Collaborate with engineering, customer support, UX/UI, marketing, and sales teams to deliver products that meet customer expectations and business requirements.</li><li>Lead and mentor a team of product managers, ensuring they have the tools, knowledge, and guidance to succeed.</li><li>Champion the voice of the customer within the company and advocate for the end-user experience.</li><li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.</li></ul>3. Product Development &amp; Execution<ul><li>Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation through development, launch, and iteration.</li><li>Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business value, and technical feasibility.</li><li>Ensure timely and quality delivery of product releases by managing and mitigating risks.</li><li>Create and maintain detailed product documentation, including requirements, user stories, and product specifications.</li><li>Identify and mitigate product risks if any including market, regulatory and technical risks.</li></ul>4. Market Analysis &amp; Customer Insights<ul><li>Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.</li><li>Use customer feedback, surveys, analytics, and user testing to refine product features and validate product assumptions.</li><li>Track product performance metrics and key success indicators to ensure the product meets user needs and business outcomes.</li></ul>5. Product Lifecycle Management<ul><li>Manage the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring continuous improvement and iteration.</li><li>Manage product budget including resource planning and maximizing return on investment</li><li>Implement product governance processes to ensure consistent quality and compliance with company standards.</li><li>Oversee product launches, including go-to-market strategies, marketing collateral, and sales enablement.</li></ul>6. Leadership &amp; Team Management<ul><li>Lead and grow a high-performing team of product managers, providing mentorship, feedback, and career development.</li><li>Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the product team.</li><li>Manage and develop team resources, allocate responsibilities, and ensure effective communication.</li></ul>Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (must be able to be ascertained from the resume):Education and Experience: (NOTE NECESSARY OR DESIRED)<ul><li>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).</li><li> years of experience in product management, with at least [Y] years in a leadership or senior management role, particularly in software product management.</li><li>Proven track record of delivering software products from concept to successful launch.</li><li>Strong understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and project management.</li><li>Experience managing and mentoring product management teams.</li><li>Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.</li><li>Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable product plans.</li></ul>Other Qualifications Desired:<ul><li>Experience in [specific industry or software type, e.g., SaaS, cloud, enterprise software].</li><li>Knowledge of product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Trello).</li><li>Experience with user-centered design principles and agile development methodologies.</li><li>Understanding of data-driven decision-making and analytics platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with financial modeling, P&amp;L responsibility, or pricing strategies.</li></ul>This job description describes the general nature and level of work expected of a person assigned to this position.
