As an SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our global trade operations, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations, and optimizing the flow of goods and services across borders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement, configure, and maintain the SAP GTS module, helping to drive our global trade compliance strategy. Your expertise in SAP GTS will be essential in facilitating international trade processes and minimizing the risks associated with global operations.

Under limited supervision, general direction, etc. and in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations and ASP policies, procedures and guidelines, the duties and responsibilities of this position include:

SAP GTS Configuration: Customize and configure the SAP GTS module to align with the companys global trade compliance requirements, including tariff classification, export control, import/export compliance, and product classification.
Compliance Management: Lead the design and implementation of compliance processes, including sanctioned party list screening, embargo checks, and legal control, ensuring adherence to global trade regulations.
Customs Management: Drive the configuration and optimization of import/export declaration processes and customs procedures to support efficient and compliant cross-border operations.
Risk Management: Oversee the setup of product classification, preference determination, and origin management to reduce duty costs and ensure regulatory alignment across regions.
Electronic Compliance Reporting: Enable seamless integration with government platforms by configuring electronic filing processes, ensuring timely and accurate submission of trade documents.
Trade Compliance Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain effective trade compliance processes, including import/export documentation, embargo/sanction list screening, and restricted party screening.
Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the SAP GTS system, including the maintenance of product master data, customs information, and compliance documentation.
Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor international trade activities and perform regular audits to identify and address potential compliance issues. Generate reports to track and analyze trade compliance performance and key metrics.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and colleagues to enhance their understanding of SAP GTS functionality, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations and trade compliance laws to ensure the companys ongoing compliance and make necessary system adjustments.
Troubleshooting: Act as the point of contact for troubleshooting SAP GTS-related issues and implementing solutions to resolve system and process discrepancies.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications/Licenses, and Affiliations:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related field. Advanced degrees and SAP certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in implementing and configuring SAP GTS, with a minimum of 7+ years in a similar role.
Strong understanding of international trade compliance regulations, customs procedures, and trade finance.
Proficiency in SAP GTS modules, SAP ECC, or S/4HANA, and SAP Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
