You would build and refine the strategy and lead the execution of impactful publishing efforts grounded by data and insights. This includes marketing strategy, brand management, product marketing, mobile user acquisition, strategic planning, social and digital marketing, marketing analytics, press relations, and brand content. You will be expected to anticipate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI into publishing workflows while forging strong partnerships with Community, Player Support, Product Strategy, and Early Market Validation. Together, these collaborations will ensure publishing strategies are seamlessly aligned with player-facing initiatives and that Fortis can test novel gameplay and genres earlier in development.</p> <h3><strong>What you will do</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Build frameworks to validate product-market fit in the prototyping phase, combining market intelligence, consumer insights, and early creative tests.</li> <li>Define and lead the end-to-end publishing strategy for the Fortis Games portfolio including global marketing, brand, platform relations, commercial partnerships, and regional publishing.</li> <li>Responsibility and leadership of internal creative services, user acquisition, product marketing, and lifecycle teams across all owned and paid channels to drive market awareness, customer acquisition, and loyalty.</li> <li>Define process and standards for launch readiness and post-launch optimisation.</li> <li>Work closely with product management and live ops to advise on business decisions, identify key features and functionality to be promoted in marketing campaigns.</li> <li>Provide strategic guidance for regional publishing teams and work closely with regional teams to help them build marketing plans that align with our global strategy.</li> <li>Drive innovation in publishing workflows, including the adoption of AI and automation to scale creative production, personalization, and measurement.</li> <li>Partner closely with Community, Product Strategy, and Early Market Validation as stakeholders to ensure publishing insights and market learnings feed into product development.</li> <li>Collaborate with our leadership team to set marketing goals and metrics, and track and analyze the performance of overall marketing success.</li> <li>Use growth experimentation to diagnose challenges (e.g., monetization vs. scale trade-offs) and run structured tests to inform strategy.</li> <li>Manage publishing budget and resources, including the selection and management of external agencies and partners.</li> <li>Manage Game PR and Communications with the media and the Fortis community to develop and solidify corporate and product positioning.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What you need?</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience in launching global marketing campaigns, preferably multi-million selling game releases.</li> <li>Substantial successes in bringing products and services to market and scaling these services.</li> <li>Track record of building, managing, and leading publishing/marketing teams in a global, remote-first environment.</li> <li>Experience with multi-product platforms and business models, including subscription-based games, console games, free-to-play games, mobile games, and PC games.</li> <li>Seen as a brand builder and storyteller with proven success crafting brands and a track record of building brand engagement and generating business growth.</li> <li>Experience working with or integrating AI into marketing/publishing workflows is highly desirable.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Required qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Exceptional analytical skills and ability to solve problems with metrics-driven approaches.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of the gaming industry, publishing, and marketing strategies.</li> <li>Experience with data analytics and market research.</li> <li>Ability to adapt to changing market trends and consumer behavior.</li> <li>Experience launching and scaling new Free-to-Play games, platforms, or marketplaces to the public.</li> <li>Experience building reporting metrics, synthesizing complex data and KPIs to generate easy-to-understand executive reports.</li> <li>Experience designing and running experiments to solve growth or market-fit challenges, balancing creativity with rigor.</li> <li>Passion for mobile games.</li> </ul><div><p><span><strong>Why join us</strong></span><br /><br /><span>There are many reasons to join us, but here are a few:</span></p> <ul> <li><span>We strongly believe we are changing how games studios operate and at the core of what we do is making great games that create a connected community</span></li> <li> <div><span>Were not just about making Games Where You Belong.
