About the role:

As the Vice President (VP) of Product, Intelligent Fraud Management, you will be a critical leader in shaping the future of our primary product offering. You will own the vision, strategy, and execution for our intelligent fraud management solutions, ensuring the value is straightforward and clear, address evolving market needs - including AI agents and technology, and drive significant value for our global customer base. You will lead a talented team of product managers, working closely with engineering, data science, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver innovative and impactful solutions that solidify Forters position as the leader in trust for digital commerce. This role requires a deep understanding of the digital commerce, fraud, and identity landscape, a strong technical acumen, exceptional strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and Evangelize Product Vision and Strategy: Develop a clear, compelling, and data-driven product vision and strategy for Forters Intelligent Fraud Management Solution, aligning with the overall company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Drive Product Roadmap and Execution: Own and prioritize the product roadmap, translating the vision and strategy into actionable plans and working closely with engineering and design to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Deeply Understand Customer Needs and Market Trends: Continuously engage with customers, prospects, analysts, and internal teams to identify unmet needs, emerging fraud trends, and competitive dynamics, translating these insights into product requirements.
  • Lead and Mentor a High-Performing Product Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of talented product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and ownership.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely and effectively with engineering, data science, design, marketing, sales, customer success, and legal teams to ensure seamless product development, launch, and adoption.
  • Define and Analyze Product Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the product, using data to drive decision-making and identify areas for optimization.
  • Champion Product Evangelism: Serve as a key spokesperson for Forters Intelligent Fraud Management solutions, engaging with industry events, analysts, and customers to articulate our value proposition and thought leadership.
  • Manage Product Lifecycle: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, iteration, and sunsetting as necessary.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulations and ensure the product roadmap and features align with legal and compliance requirements.

Drive Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the product team, exploring new technologies, methodologies, and approaches to continuously enhance our fraud management capabilities.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience (12+ years) in product management, with significant experience (5+ years) specifically within the fraud prevention, identity management, risk management, or cybersecurity space.
  • Deep understanding of the evolving fraud landscape, including various fraud types, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex technical architectures and data science methodologies.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to translate market insights and data into actionable product strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching successful SaaS products at scale.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing product management teams.
  • Strong customer empathy and a passion for solving customer problems.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Experience with large datasets, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions is a significant plus.
  • Experience in the eCommerce or FinTech industries

Hybrid work:

At Forter, we have embraced a hybrid work model that combines the benefits of in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Salary Range: $276,000 - $341,000 annually + bonus + equity + benefits
The referenced salary range is based on the Companys good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, and skill level.
