You will play a critical role in shaping the infrastructure that drives our billing processes, directly impacting Forter’s revenue and growth.</p> <p>As we continue to scale and introduce new products, we’re looking for passionate engineers who are eager to take ownership of complex systems and make a significant impact.</p> <p>If youre excited about designing and building robust, scalable systems, we’d love for you to join us in shaping the future of Forter’s Billing infrastructure.</p> <h3><strong>Why you should join us:</strong></h3> <p>You’ll be building scalable, high-performance services that handle massive volumes of data, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our operations.</p> <p>You’ll tackle complex challenges around data scalability, performance, and system architecture, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, impactful solutions.</p> <h3><strong>What youll be doing:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient systems that handle high-volume data, while collaborating with teammates and individual contributors at Forter</li> <li>Take ownership of projects, from concept to production, ensuring the highest quality </li> <li>Work on data-driven initiatives that improve system performance, efficiency, and billing accuracy</li> <li>Work with Product Managers to define features and scope, guiding technical decisions and trade-offs, to align with company goals.</li> <li>Collaborate in an environment involving various stakeholders within the company</li> <li>Help foster best practices and mentor team members to maintain a high standard of engineering excellence</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What youll need:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience developing and maintaining production systems </li> <li>2+ years of thorough Python experience</li> <li>Proven track record in leading technical projects through all phases of the software development life cycle, ensuring high engineering standards from requirements to deployment and ongoing maintenance</li> <li>Familiar with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, deployment pipelines, observability, and quality assurance (unit, integration testing)</li> <li>Proficiency in various storage solutions such as MySQL, Snowflake, and Redis</li> <li>Experience with AWS or other public cloud services</li> <li>A proactive attitude and a passion for providing technical solutions that bring an immediate business impact and ensure engineering excellence</li> </ul> <p><strong>It would be cool if you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with NoSQL data stores such as Elasticsearch </li> <li>Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using industry-standard frameworks like Airflow, Kafka, Delta Lake, etc</li> <li>Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms</li> <li>Previous background in the fintech industry</li> </ul> <p><strong>About us:</strong></p> <p>Digital commerce is built on trust.
