The candidate would be collaborating across engineering and cloud infrastructure teams supporting a SaaS digital marketing platform. While some ETL processes might be involved, the primary focus of this role is guiding how we manage data to build effective products and systems.We seek an engineer who is a:<ul><li>Servant leader - You lead by example and are willing to work alongside the platforming teams to effect positive change for our platforms</li><li>Decision maker - You can guide discussions and balance pros/cons without knowing all the details with a bias to action</li><li>Communicator - You are excited to contribute to our culture of iterative development, team collaboration and our fun, positive, professional, remote-first work environment.  </li></ul><h3>Compensation This position offers $120,000-$140,000 based on experience and qualifications </h3><h3>Primary Skills, Responsibilities &amp; Qualifications</h3><ul><li>10+ years experience developing web-based, cloud-hosted software in a team environment</li><li>5+ years of T-SQL and SQL Server experience</li><li>Experience managing production data systems</li><li>Strong understanding of cloud environments and site reliability (AWS, DataDog, DPA)</li><li>Strong understanding of Devops principles and systems (CI/CD, Github, Jenkins)</li><li>Familiarity with coding languages (C#, Python, Powershell)</li><li>Familiarity with AI and Agentic approaches to data</li><li>Well-rounded knowledge of platform architecture</li><li>Passion for coaching and mentoring</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently</li><li>Access to a private &amp; secure workspace, free from distractions</li><li>Accessible during the assigned work schedule for regular duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor</li><li>An internet connection with speeds of 5 Megabits down / 3 Megabits up (5mbps/3mbps)</li></ul><h3>At FMG, we believe in the wholehearted acceptance of each other regardless of our differences.
