You will be part of the Analytics team at Fivetran, a leader at the forefront of modern analytics. We leverage the most innovative data stack and define industry best-practices to provide data-driven insights to build the next generation of data pipelines. What is unique about being an analyst at Fivetran is that you get to work as a “full-stack” analyst, covering responsibilities from analytics engineering / data modeling to dashboarding, ad-hoc data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and more.  This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Oakland, CA office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team. Technologies You’ll Use <ul> <li>SQL (BigQuery/Snowflake)</li> <li>dbt/SQLMesh</li> <li>Looker/LookML</li> <li>Sigma/Hex/Google Sheets</li> <li>Height/Jira</li> </ul> What You’ll Do <ul> <li>Partner with product managers to quantitatively understand problems and potential solutions; analyze disparate data sets in creative ways to generate new insights</li> <li>Proactively engage in the definition and measurement of KPIs that will drive the company to success; set benchmarks and provide the means to monitor progress towards targets</li> <li>Participate in experiment design and analyze performance of product launches and experiments, and make recommendations to optimize for actions that drive impact</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners to tackle challenges where product data and broader business data intersect</li> <li>Maintain and enhance analytics infrastructure including data models and visualization tools at Fivetran in cooperation with analysts across the organization</li> <li>Assist in training new hires, colleagues, partners and our fan club on the workings of Fivetran’s data and what it means to be a data-driven culture</li> </ul> Skills We’re Looking For <ul> <li>Passion for data and analytics</li> <li>Advanced SQL</li> <li>Demonstrated experience using a data visualization tool such as Looker, Sigma, Hex or Tableau to analyze, visualize, and model raw data sets</li> <li>Advanced logical and analytical abilities to help solve problems and derive insights from data</li> <li>Excellent​ ​verbal​ ​and written​ ​communication​ ​skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders</li> <li>Resourceful,​ ​self-motivated,​ ​and​ ​able​ ​to​ ​successfully complete multiple competing projects under tight deadlines</li> <li>Strong prioritization and organizational skills with attention to detail</li> </ul> Bonus Skills​ <ul> <li>5+ years experience using analytics to support key business decisions, preferably at a high-growth, SaaS or B2B product company</li> <li>Experience using dbt or other data transformation tools</li> <li>Python/R experience</li> </ul> #LI-HYBRID #LI-EM1<div><div><div>The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the target position and level.
